Born in 1981, Khoa V. Le
is a graduate of Tokyo Institute Technology.
In 2011, he received his doctorate from the same institute. After a few years of postdoctoral work, he joined Tokyo
University of Science as an Assistant Professor working with Professor Takeo
Sasaki in 2015. He received an award for a poster presented at the 1st Tokyo
Tech - Asia Materials Week International Symposium (2008), as well as the
Rainbow Award from Japanese Liquid Crystal Society (2010) and the Incentive
Award for Young Researchers from Japanese Liquid Crystal Society (2010). His current
research interests are the physicochemical aspects of soft matter, particularly
electrooptical properties of thermotropic liquid crystals and molecular
interactions in lyotropic systems.
