Mario Okawa is a non-PI faculty member (junior associate professor) of
Prof. Tomohiko Saitoh group at Department of Applied Physics, Tokyo
University of Science. He was born in Tokyo in 1982. He obtained his B.S.
in Applied Physics from Tokyo University of Science in 2006, and his M.S.
and Ph.D. in Advanced Materials Science from University of Tokyo in 2008
and 2011, respectively. From April 2010 to March 2011, he worked as a JSPS
Research Fellow (a fellowship position for doctoral students) at Prof.
Shik Shin group, Institute for Solid State Physics, University of Tokyo,
and then moved to Tokyo University of Science in April 2011. His research currently
focuses on electronic structure observations in exotic superconducting
and quantum critical materials using photoemission spectroscopy.
