Current Research Interests

My research group is currently interested in the transition metal-catalyzed organic transformations. Especially, we are interested in the development of environmentally benign processes which will provide complex organic compounds. These reactions will provide alternative methods for the synthesis of useful organic compounds, which are essential to our daily life. We are also extending our research to the synthesis of supramolecules catalyzed by transition metal catalysts. These new and interesting compounds may function as molcular switches etc.
